Vitamins and Supplements
Sometimes, children may need vitamins or supplements to ensure they are getting the proper nutrients. For instance, vitamin D supplements is for all breastfeeing infants and are often recommended for children who have low viamin D, which is important for boen health.

Iron supplements may be prescribed for children with iron-deficiency anemia, a condition that can cause fatigue and weakness.

It is advised that parents consult with their pediatrician before giving their children any vitamins or supplements. Overuse of certain vitamins or minerals can lead to toxicity, which can be harmful.
