Same Day Sick Appointments

Why it's important

There's nothing more stressful than a sick child. Here at Colorado River Pediatrics, your child's health is our number one priority, and we reserve time each day specifically for seeing sick children on a first come, first-served basis. To guarantee a same day sick appointment, we recommend calling before 10 AM, as the wait for walk-in visits can be quite long. Walk-in Sick Appointments: We try and see the healthy babies first thing in themorning. We encourage you to call and schedule an appointment as the wait for Walk-In Sick visits can be quite a while. We start taking calls at 8:00 AM and we try to have space every day for sick patients to call and be seen the same day, but you must call by 10:00 if you want to be seen the same day. In-Office Appointment Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00- noon; 1:30-5:00 PM. Virtual Appointments: These appointments are scheduled during regular appointment hours, either same day or for another time. We are using facetime and zoom. Please call the office to set up the appointment. Child sick after hours? Call our office and select option #3 to forward on to the on-call provider. If you get voice mail, leave your phone number so we can call you back. After-hours calls are billed to your insurance. Copays, coinsurance, and deductibles apply.
